B.M-W Dance Company
B.M-W Dance Company was founded by Artistic Director Birgit Mühlmann – Wieser in 2005 and is dedicated to her choreographies. Since then the Company has touched and inspired audiences wherever they have appeared. Mühlmann – Wieser’s work persuades through an acute observation of human behaviour with an extraordinary sense for emotions, feelings and expressive, provocative dancing She is renowned for her sophisticating concepts, her theatrical style, her musicality and her use of intermedial space.
She has developed an individual choreographic voice which is made up by clear body language, the depth and transparency within her work and her sense for composition and staging. B.M-W Dance Company works in close collaboration with artists of various genres such as music, painting, literature, sculpture, photography, video art, costume design, lighting design and sound design.
